This photo is in Paula Barsby's collection and was sent in by Dave Smith. His mother Winifred Ada Platts born 24 June 1899 is sitting in front of teacher. Interestingly the girl on the front row first left has a swastika brooch. It would not have then had the terrible sybolism that it has today.
