Says Jocie Kemp:'' My daughter found this on the internet and she thought no. 2 was her grandfather, Jack Kemp. She was nearly right. I'm sure that it is his brother, Charles Kemp, who was one of the first scholarship students at the school. Jack failed to win a scholarship in the 10 plus, so his parents paid for him. Mr Crompton and Miss Silk both taught my father and then me.''
