The Hall. Pictured in the main hall are Mrs James, the bursar, and the current headmaster, Mr Vasey. Just walking into the picture is Miss Tate, who taught at Long Eaton briefly, but is perhaps better known to a generation of Long Eaton Girl Guides as 'Skip'! Also present from my time at school were Mr Hart (games), Mrs Hart (I can't remember what she taught as she was on maternity leave when I was at school), Mrs Bean (French), Mr Smith (biology) and Mr Hunt (physics - now deputy head). Whilst walking round, I chatted with a Mrs Goode and Mrs Mee, who taught there in the 60s and 70s, respectively.
