Richard Lubkowski, passed away on Saturday 2nd Feb 2019 at his home in Malvern Worcestershire. He leaves a widow, two children and six grandchildren.
Richard was from Spondon, Derby and went to Astedale Primary and Long Eaton Grammar School where he was Head Boy 1969 -1970. He played for Ilkeston RFU before moving south and played Rugby for Wellingborough. He took up a teaching post at the then newly formed Sir Christopher Hatton School at Wellingborough, before leaving teaching in the late 1980s to train as a Priest and moved away from the area.
His funeral was on Tuesday 19th February 11:00 am St Mathia Church, Malvern, Worcestershire
