I did not know whether you were aware of the sudden death, at the age of 66,on Mon. 30th July of Paul Wilkinson (LEGS 1957-64.) After leaving LEGS he went to university at Swansea. He spent many years as a civil servant, before finally becoming a shopkeeper (like his father) in the Skegness area, where he had lived for many years. His funeral was held today at Alford Crematorium. He leaves a widow, Anna, and children and grandchildren. In the sixth form he was affectionately known, rather inaccurately, as “Podge,” for although he was tall and well built he was never “podgy.” Paul was a Notts. County fanatic!
