TRIBUTES have been paid to a former Deputy Mayor of Derby after he was found dead at his home.

Martin du Sautoy died, aged 73, after a long and successful career in politics in the city.

The former Conservative group leader, who later joined UKIP,was found dead at his home in allestree.

He was an English teacher at Long Eaton Grammar School and also went on to Herbert Strutt Grammar School in Belper and Saint Benedicts at Allestree.
