Keith Brammer
LEGS 1960 u6
Died 06 Mar 2009
autobiography: Tried early retirement and failed. Have had a good career in education; working in London, Kent, Notts, Lincs and Jersey. Became a teacher, because I enjoyed my own school days at Long Eaton so much, and taught in grammar, public and comprehensive schools, before becoming an LEA English Adviser and then an Inspector. Played hockey, rugby and cricket until forced to stop by a back injury. I now have an old house, a garden which is really too big for me, two children who left home years ago; and a Daimler Dart that makes me feel like a boy racer once again – it was first registered in 1960, the year I left school. Some contemporaries may remember that I had a twin brother, Dennis, who also attended LEGS. He has lived in Canada for many years.

From JOHN WOOD: It is with regret that I have to advise that Keith Brammer (circa 1953 – 1960) died this morning at his home in Eastwell near Melton Mowbray after a long illness. If any LEGS Reunited correspondents wish to know any more about the arrangements they can contact me on 01949 861836. I do not have any further information at the moment but expect to find out in the near future.
