David Rees (Reverend Mr) (married Janet Orrell also from LEGS)
The Reverend David Rees has died aged 76 - (mid January 2015). He was a Religious Instruction teacher at LEGS from 1967 until 1974.
Jane Reid nee Longhurst said: He was a special friend and my daughter's Godfather. He had a long battle with Alzheimer's which he bore with gentleness to the end. I went over to see him quite a bit and only a year ago he was still able to be taken out for a meal etc. His wife, Janet, has looked after him wonderfully but eventually he had to move to a Nursing Home and there he died peacefully aged 76.
The Memorial Service is at St Asaph Cathedral, at 12 noon on Saturday 31st January 2015.
