Andy Poyser aged 57 (1971 U6th) and PE Teacher at Long Eaton School untill his retirement in 2001 has died after being hit by a lorry on the MI. His Funeral will be held at Bramcote Crematorium on Monday 14th December at 4.15pm.

From the Derby Telegraph: A PEDESTRIAN who was hit by a lorry on the M1 yesterday morning has died of his injuries.

Andrew John Poyser, 57, of Long Eaton, had stopped his vehicle on the hard shoulder of the southbound carriageway between Junctions 25 and 24a, near Long Eaton, at around 11am.

Mr Poyser got out of his vehicle and was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle, suffering multiple serious injuries as a result.

A previous failed attempted Suicide was when he jumped off the M1 bridge at Breaston and was hit by vehicles but survived.
He was airlifted to the Queens Medical Centre where he underwent emergency surgery, but he died of his injuries yesterday afternoon.
