A former Deputy Headmistress at Long Eaton Grammar School where she taught for 37 years, died last week at Windrush Nursing Home West Bridgford. She was 85.
Miss Turner was educated at Long Eaton Grammar School or, as it was known, Long Eaton Pupil Teachers' Centre until 1905 and then at Nottingham Day Training Centre until 1907.
