Miss Drake retired from the teaching staff of the School at the end of October, 1943, having completed 32 years of service. She was at all times a most energetic and versatile personality. Scholars will remember her for the interest she aroused, and the pleasure she gave, in a variety of subjects. Hier colleagues will remember her good humour and her generous point of view, and will miss her enthusiasm and skill in all matters pertaining to school activities. She was a most resourceful ''Mistress of the War.drobe'' ; indeed, at times her ingenuity in this capacity fell little short of sheer magic. Colleagues and scholars combine in wishing Miss .Drake many years of happy retirement. Her address is "Fern Bank,'' Colney Lane, Cringleford, Norwich, and we are sure that she will be pleased to have news from the many friends she made during her years at Long Eaton .
