Chris Ratcliffe supplied this picture, He says: 'The picture is of a school trip to somewhere in the Peak District in the Summer of 1962, as we were coming to the end of our first year at LEGS. That's me in the centre, waving. But I can make out Philip Roberts in the background, and I can see Sonia Fulwood and can make out Lyn Gostick's pony tail. I think the boy striding out to the left of the picture was called Alan, but I can't remember his second name. I think the teacher on the wall, taking a picture might have been Roger Davy, but I could be wrong there. I think two of the three boys crouching to the right of the picture might be David Sanderson and John Fitzgerald. I can't remember who on earth took the photograph, whether pupil or teacher.'
